QDo I need to have an itinerary?
AYes!
Business: You will need a letter on company letterhead giving details of the trip.
Tourist: You must show copy of airline ticket, itinerary or E-ticket.
QWhat if I have not booked my trip?
AContact our travel division for a quote on Airfare, Cruise and Hotels. Call us toll free at 1.800.280.9389.
QIs your service guaranteed?
AOur portion of the service is guaranteed. However, we cannot control what the Department of State will do or not do and can we control third party shipping such as FedEx or UPS etc.
QDo I have to use FedEx?
AFedEx is our preferred vendor for overnight services; you may use any other overnight company you choose. However, for Same Day processing the package must be in our processing location by 8am. You must have a tracking number for the package so we can track its location.

AYou must first contact a document specialist at ACE Passport Services for instructions and the correct address where to send the package.
QWhy do I need 2 copies of the Letter of Authorization and 2 copies of the travel itinerary?
AOne copy of the ACE Passport Services Authorization Letter and one copy of the travel itinerary goes inside the sealed package. The other copies go on the outside of the package. Our courier must present proof of departure and courier authorization in order to process your passport application.
QDo I have to fill out the application online?
AYes! The Department of State will not accept hand written applications requesting rush service. The reason that we are required to complete the application form is that once the application is created a 2-D barcode is implanted in left corner of the application form. This is a Data input Barcode that the Department of State can scan and transfer the data information directly to their computer system.
QHow do I change my name on my passport?
AIf your passport was issued to you less than a year ago you should click on the section for change of name. If it is more than 1 year you will have to renew your passport and send the original court document stating your name change.

AYou will need to apply for the passport in your current name. Your Name on the application must match the name listed on your driver’s license or ID.
QDo I have to list all the names all my previous names and dates of Marriage and Divorce?
AYES! You must list all other names that you have been know as and the dates that you were married and divorced in chronological order.
QMy Passport has been lost or stolen, how can I obtain a new one?
AYou must re-apply for a new passport replacement. You must have your certified birth certificate. If you cannot find your birth certificate we suggest the you call the vital records division at the city, county or state of your birth. They will take your order and then send it to you FedEx or Express mail.You must have proper State Issued Photo I.D If you cannot fine your Photo I.D you must complete the
Supplemental I.D Question air and submit at least 5 pieces of I .D for the supplemental I.D List.If you cannot complete the Supplemental ID Questionnaire, you can pay $150.00 extra to request a file search of your last passport record.
QMy passport pages are full, how can I add pages to my passport?
AYou must complete form DS-82 online. The U.S Department of State no longer adds pages to passport books. You must renew you passport.

AThe following is a list of some of the things that stop you from obtaining a passport.
Child Support Payments in arrears,
Back Taxes,
Default on Student Loans, or
Criminal Conviction History.
QWhat are my payment options?
AThe Department of State fee: $195 – Adult, persons age 16 and over OR $165 – Child, persons age 15 and under) must be paid with check or money order. The postmaster fee ($25) can be paid with check, money order or debit card. Our fees must be paid with credit card or money order.
QWho is responsible for the shipping fees?
AYou the customer are responsible for shipping fees. The shipping to ACE Passport Services and the return shipping back to you. The return FedEx fee can be paid with a credit card or FedEx account number. FedEx will bill your credit card for the FedEx charges.

QDoes my Child require a passport?
AYes. Effective 02-01-08 all U.S. citizens REGARDLESS OF AGE must prove their citizenship when exiting and re-entering the United States. (This includes infant children.)

ABoth the natural father and natural mother are required to appear with the child at the closest passport acceptance facility. If only one parent and be present the absent parent may complete Affidavit DS 3053 giving the other parent permission to obtain a passport for the child or children.
The consent form DS3055 must be notarized.
QHow long is a child’s passport good for?
AChildren are issued passports which are valid for 5 years.
The child is issued a passport each 5 years until the age of 16.
Persons 16 and over are considered an adult and are issued a passport valid for 10 years.
QCan I go to a notary to have my materials verified?
ANo, You must appear at the closest post office or county clerk’s office that accepts passports and visit with the passport agent to have your signature witnessed on the computer generated application.
QWhere can I find an acceptance location?

This site will allow you to find the nearest location to apply for a passport. It is provided by the Department of State’s Bureau of Consular Affairs, Office of Passport Services/Customer Service. Enter your zip code. It will list all post offices and county clerks offices closest to your location that accept passports.
