The Department of State cautions U.S. citizens of the dangers of travel to Tunisia. This is an update to the information on the current security situation in Tunisia posted on September 15, 2012. The warning is to inform the possibility violent demonstrations. On September 14, 2012 the Department of State commanded the departure of all non-emergency U.S. government individuals from Tunisia, after the attack on the U.S. Embassy and the American Cooperative School in Tunis.
